Time for holiday cheer! The Richmond Craft Mafia yearly Handmade Holiday Craft Show is this Sunday. I’m busily sewing away on more pouches and may make some new items to throw in the NLD mix. Here is a sneak peak of what I am working on.
I totally love behind the scene workshop/studio videos. I stumbled on to Grain and Gram, a very cool blog that features crafters and artists, all guys! Awesome that crafty dudes are getting featured for a change. Shout out to Dude Craft for finding this blog gem. One of the newest posts on G&G is on Roy Slaper, the man with all the cool toys *ahem* specialized sewing machines used to make Roy Denim.
So, I went digging because I like to read about small clothing designers, because I am one and nosy.
On Roy’s website, he has a couple of neato videos of the workings of his workshop. http://www.roydenim.com/video
I’ll admit I’m a nice shade of lime with envy of the workshop gadgetry going on at Roy headquarters. Now bring on to the machines!
I love flowers but they don’t really love me back. Ya see, I have terrible allergies. So I admire from afar. I’ve been making the super cute flower pillows of late, new for fall and to appease my flower fix. A little daisy, a little sunflowery, very flowery.

NLD has finally gone international with my first overseas sale to someone in Norway. Yay!!!
It was a little nerve racking trying to decipher the USPS.com website, intl. first class, intl. priority, oh my! but my local post office clerks were very helpful. I had always heard that it would be crazy expensive, but it turned out to be quite reasonable for the buyer, win/win.
Look out world you to can have something from NLD!!!
And as you can see to the left of the page I have added a newsletter sign up form box for yall to keep up to date with sales and possibly contests.
Fellow Etsy seller, Stefania ( Gufobardo) included me in her Etsy Treasury featuring all things Scooters/Vespas.
Vroom! Vroom!!
